The Tack makers and leather workers call this a "Halter" snap. Yes, they are used as the snap at the cheek of most horse halters including ours, however they are also used on our BioThane Beta Breast Collars too. On our Breast Collars this snap has been ridden through rivers, mud and sand. Performance tested.
Made of Equine tough Strength Stainless Steel. The spring is Thumb-Touch easy on the human hand, yet Equine strength and sealed in a self-oiled chamber. They'll work just fine on your leather too. These will not rust or corrode - ever.
