Extended Information

We've modernized this traditional Laced Rein with an improved material. Plus these reins are designed with the trail rider in mind. Made using leather-like BioThane Beta - so, that it is super easy-to-care-for is a "given". And this rein comes with an O-ring laced into the center point with a Snap-on/off popper for you to grasp, while sitting steady in the saddle letting your horse have a drink. No more leaning over your horse's neck at the river. The hand crafted lacing is at the grip. Just what you need for a little extra holding power. Especially nice if your hands are a little arthritic. Oh yeah....they are gorgeous too.

BIOTHANE-BETA
The in-hand lace is two strands of 3/8" BioThane Beta. Each strand is hand laced onto the rein.
- 3/8" width Beta lace is available in Black, Caramel & Choc Brown.
The BioThane Beta rein is 3/4" wide.
The default length is 8'5" measuring from the tip of the snap, to tip of the snap.
- They can easily be shortened with a simple leather-punch and scissors.
- Shop our Made for You reins for a custom length or colors.
The double popper snaps-on / off to an O-ring which is weaved into the lace.
The popper is two strands of BioThane 1/2" w x 30" L.
- One of the two strands need to be the leather-like BioThane Beta for grip.
HARDWARE
All hardware and snaps are equine strength stainless steel.
We use stainless steel conway buckles to reduce bulk and allow field length customization.
The scissor snaps are thumb-touch easy on the human hand. The chamber is oiled. The scissor tines longer for equine strength.
- The rein snaps are included by default. The snaps can be deducted off your order as an option during the ordering process.
- You can also easily remove the snaps and attach directly to the bit in the field at any time.
