We're introducing a traditional Laced Grip rein in a modern, durable material - BioThane Beta. A Laced Grip rein has, for centuries, been thought of as a "fine" equestrian grip in Dressage, hunt, jumping and other European riding traditions. The lacing is known to provide extra hold power and finger placement perfection. It looks super classy. And, who knows, maybe your trail horse will feel the need to do a Flying Lead Change or "Pirouette" with these reins in your hands.

BIOTHANE-BETA
The in-hand lace is two strands of 3/8" BioThane Beta. Each strand is hand laced onto the 3/4" rein.
- 3/8" width Beta lace is available in Black & Choc Brown.
The BioThane Beta rein is 3/4" wide.
The default length is 8'5" measuring from the tip of the snap, to tip of the snap.
- They can easily be shortened with a simple leather-punch and scissors.
- Shop our Made for You rein section for a custom length or colors.
HARDWARE
All hardware and snaps are equine strength stainless steel.
We use a stainless steel conway buckles to reduce bulk and allow field length customization.
The scissor snaps are thumb-touch easy on the human hand. The chamber is oiled. The scissor tines longer for equine strength.
- The rein snaps are included by default. The snaps can be deducted off your order as an option during the ordering process.
- You can also easily remove the snaps and attach directly to the bit in the field at any time.
