A Conway buckle is possibly the most cursed piece of hardware used on horse tack.  However they serve a unique purpose. These are Equine Strength Stainless Steel that will not rust, tarnish or corrode.   Why have we chosen to use Conway buckles on specific areas on our own SpecTACKular tack designs?  Simple – It reduces bulk - Two pieces of strap versus the three or four required for most other buckle types.  This results in increased horse comfort & decreased weight. Use on leather, BioThane Beta, Webbing or other strap.  Available in four sizes: 1/2" up to 1"
